After believing in the Lord, we were forgiven of sins, but it is undeniable that we still often go against the teachings of the Lord and follow the lusts of the flesh and commit sins, such as telling lies, deceiving, and cheating. It’s very difficult for us to escape the cycle of sinning and confessing. We never manage to shake off the shackles and restrictions of our sin. The Lord Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, Whoever commits sin is the servant of sin. And the servant stays not in the house for ever: but the Son stays ever” (John 8:34–35). From these words, we can see that those who often sin cannot enter the kingdom of God. So how can we break free from the bondage of sin, achieve purification, and enter the kingdom of heaven? In our lives, we all have such experience: If one does work by himself, though he has worked hard, he still cannot achieve perfect and there is deviation in his work. However, when we are of one heart and rely on God together, we can gain the Holy Spirit’s guidance easily. Our minds will be broadened and we can make up for each other’s shortcomings. Thus, the results of the work are much better than that done by one. Also, we can learn to put aside ourselves and modestly listen to other’s good opinions and not be arrogant or self-righteous, which is beneficial for our entry into life.
