In this way, our hearts can be set aright and we can easily receive God’s blessings and guidance. The Pharisees always purposely prayed in intersections so that everyone could see them. They focused on doing things before men, yet had no knowledge of God and nailed the incarnate God to the cross. This shows that outward practices are not important, seeking to satisfy God in everything and living before God is of the utmost importance.
