Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

After believing in the Lord, we were forgiven of sins, but it is undeniable that we still often go against the teachings of the Lord and follow the lusts of the flesh and commit sins, such as telling lies, deceiving, and cheating.
