In our lives, we all have such experience: If one does work by himself, though he has worked hard, he still cannot achieve perfect and there is deviation in his work. However, when we are of one heart and rely on God together, we can gain the Holy Spirit’s guidance easily. Our minds will be broadened and we can make up for each other’s shortcomings. Thus, the results of the work are much better than that done by one. Also, we can learn to put aside ourselves and modestly listen to other’s good opinions and not be arrogant or self-righteous, which is beneficial for our entry into life. We should seek to satisfy God in everything since we believe in Him. The Bible says, “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men” (Col 3:23). This sentence tells us God’s requirement: Do things before God and accept His inspection; do not be subject to the constraints of people, events, or things and do not do things before men. In this way, our hearts can be set aright and we can easily receive God’s blessings and guidance. The Pharisees always purposely prayed in intersections so that everyone could see them.
