Is it very important to fear God? Yes, very important. It relates to mankind’s attitude toward God. If we have a heart that fears God, we will seek God’s will in everything and do it according to God’s requirements. Take Job, he feared God and shunned evil. He hated his children’s feasting, so he always prayed and gave sacrifice for them. Moreover, he stood testimony satisfying God when he was tempted by Satan. In our lives, we all have such experience: If one does work by himself, though he has worked hard, he still cannot achieve perfect and there is deviation in his work. However, when we are of one heart and rely on God together, we can gain the Holy Spirit’s guidance easily. Our minds will be broadened and we can make up for each other’s shortcomings. Thus, the results of the work are much better than that done by one. Also, we can learn to put aside ourselves and modestly listen to other’s good opinions and not be arrogant or self-righteous, which is beneficial for our entry into life.
