【Bible Verse】What is the correct pursuit of Believing in God?

when you feel sad, remember the lord said:"Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me." John 14:1

And I will turn my hand on you, and purely purge away your dross, and take away all your tin. Isaiah 1:25

He that answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly and shame to him. Proverbs 18:13

Pride goes before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. Proverbs 16:10

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto you do well that you take heed, as to a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
